On average how often do you read? 1-6 hrs a day.
What are some things you like/look for in books? I love books based on history, or ones that put you right into the lives that you wouldn't normally imagine or think of being in, such as Nefertiti and The Heretic Queen by Michelle Moran. I also love to read about the holocaust.Ones you cannot possibly put down till it's done.
What are some things you dislike in books or avoid? I tend to not like a lot of female authors when it comes to non historical novels when they're more action/thriller/Medieval because they tend to lack a lot of detail or realistic fights (such as I'm already disliking in Graceling) . Or poor vocabulary/flow in books.

On average how often do you read? Everyday.
What are some things you like/look for in books? High quality writing! Good pace, follows the show don't tell rule, and believable characters (not mysterious lone ranger without a good reason for a character being that way). Good dialogue and really powerful scenes.
What are some things you dislike in books or avoid?
Sentimentality and Melodrama (cough* Twilight *cough), Poor writing (cough* fifty shades AND twilight *cough), and a too slow pace. Stories that are too cliché or obvious knockoffs are things I don't tend to look at.

On average how often do you read?
I don't usually go out and buy books but once in a while I find a book in the library I wouldn't mind taking home to read, but even then I sometimes don't read them. In short, not often. But I would like to make reading more of a regular thing, it's just a matter of finding the right book.
What are some things you like/look for in books?
I like a lot of character-driven stories. The story is usually the bait for me, but the hook is the characters. If they're bland, I'm not interested.
What are some things you dislike in books or avoid?
Generally I don't like trying avoid certain types of books since you never know what you might like. But I'm quite sick of vampire love stories, or stories that focus on a hopeless character that expects to be saved all the time (unless they aim to build into stronger, more self-reliant characters). I also don't like most young teen-oriented stories, though I do have some guilty pleasures.
